Network Dinners

“Network Dinners” will be held at the Guthrie Center. Each dinner will include a particular community group, members of Wisdom/Outreach Ministry, and members of the congregation.

Grace Church provides the dinners and by dining with members of diverse community groups we hope to hear of needs that align with our mission, which we could meet. Some groups that we are looking to “break bread” with include the Railroad Street Youth Project, Hispanic community members, and people who work in and benefit from Gideon’s Garden. Two dinners will include nutrition and cooking education on the produce grown in Gideon’s Garden.

Our partners for this project include; parishioners of Grace Church, the Guthrie Center, Taft Farms, Gideon’s Garden, and Fairview’s dietitians. The project will allow us to test community dinners as an effective method of hearing about needs in our community. We will be looking forward to you joining us.
