The Rev. Dr. Dwight Zscheile gives the keynote address at the 118th Convention of the Episcopal Diocese of Washington in Washington National Cathedral. In this talk, Dr. Zscheile traces the evolution of the church, helps us to understand where we are now, and lays out a vision for the new way we can become. At minute 51 he tells the story of St. James and the beginning of Gideon’s Garden as an example of how churches can become part of their communities.
